​​3rd Annual SAA Coat Drive

​Our annual coat drive is a Simeon community event that coordinates the collection and distribution of coats to individuals who need access to adequate winter clothing. Our primary goal is to ensure everyone, regardless of their economic situation, can  stay warm during the colder months.​

​You can drop off warm clothing to Simeon Career Academy,  8147 S Vincennes Ave, Chicago, IL 60620 in the lobby,  7:45 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Safe donation guidelines for "gently used items": Please clean coats before donating them. Make sure the zipper works properly and the items are free from holes and stains. The CDC recommends washing items according to the manufacturer’s instructions, using the warmest appropriate water setting and drying items completely.

Other ways to donate

Those without new or used gear to donate can help by contributing money to Simeon Aiumni Association.
